After the Badlands, we moved to the Black Hills. Our first stop, Sylvan Lake, the crown jewel of Custer State Park. Again, not much to say, just a lot of fun walking the trail that goes around the lake, climbing rocks, and taking pictures.
The children don't argue much about pictures that are quick. It's when I gather them for a planned shot that they don't like. I think it's waiting on everyone to cooperate because it takes so much time. Every once in awhile I say "everyone stop where you are and look at me", some of them have been my favorites. If we could just get the younger children to immediately move to the front when I say lets get a group picture everyone's life would be much simpler! ;)

Looks like a good time. I can relate to not enjoying planned pictures.
